Just finished mine up today. Took a different route running inline, had to lay my RSX on it's side but it worked out well for wiring the motor up. Fan blows on the motor too which kills two birds.
Did the back gunmetal with a flat finish using a Valspar glass frost spray on the exterior, stuff is bullet proof too.

Hey guys, I ordered two sets of 8.5mm clamping hexes (71014) along with the clamping front axle (71013) for the front. When installing the front hexes onto the front axles, I noticed that the hole where the pin goes in sits extremely close to the bearing so the hex can't really 'snap' into place like on the rear. Is this normal or am I missing something? Once the screw is tightened down the hex seems to be pretty snug but I was just concerned that it might pop off when driving the car.

I just ordered my fronts at absolute hobbyz.....on another note...are most modified drivers liking the sq. Or shorty? I ran truck last night for first time box stock with a sq pack.........finished 4th.....wondering if I should try a shorty for medium grip, smooth indoor....thanks
