Is the mtx6r still an active car? I don't hear much about it and it seems to be hard to source a new one. A few sites show it as discontinued. Just want to know the status of it before getting into one. Thanks

Yes the car is still active. The MTX6R just came out late last year and it's been doing great so far. I just raced mine yesterday and did great with it.

Anyone know the size of the bearing on the 2 speed shaft next to the two speed shoe? It is not listed in the manual and I am ordering parts at work and I don't have the car here to measure it. Thanks.

6x13x5 (D0602). It is the same size as the one for the 2nd spur gear. It is listed on page 14 (step 19) in the manual (but not very clearly) as "2x D0602 (6x13x5)" but it points to the bearing for the spur gear.

The two bearings on the other end of the shaft are 6x10x3 (C0605).

ok does anybody have a recommendation on a alloy servo horn for the steering the stock plastic failed this week and would rather run something without a plastic insert that fits in a 25t. I do admit I have 2 years on the oem unit

I run the Mugen aluminum on all my cars from sedan to 8th buggy and 8th onroad. Never had an issue. Just make sure to loctite the screw.
