The urethane belts are tougher but harder than the rubber belts. I prefer the rubber belts.

Hi,

I will receive my Mugen soon and i´m looking at liFe batteries. I´m going to run savöx low profile servos and was wondering how important is it to have good balance in the car? There is not as much space to put wights. it´s not like electric touring. How do you do it? That´s why i´m looking for a good "balance" battery.

Do you all run with the receiver box? saw that Shimo was running with it in 2016.

I've been running the Reedy 1300 life reciever battery and its been great. I haven't balanced my nitros and I think most don't and with the mugen you need to run the rec box as there isn't an option to run with out it without custom making something up. And for the pulleys I don't believe they ever released a set for the sedan, not sure if the ones for the mrx6 fit the sedan or not.

I run a 2200 mah lipo and balance charge it every time. If you have a charger that’ll charge lipos, that’s the way to go. Hv servos are a little more money but worth it. I don’t think you can run both low profile servos but only one because the plug wires come out in the same spot. This happened with one of my cars, I think it was the mtx6r.

i run the protek low profile servos and a protek lipo with a rex legend12r nova 2660 pipe med header balance was spot on no weights needed

Interesting about the low profile servo. I saw a picture on the web and it looks very tight with the cables. I have got my Savöx and will give it a try with LiFe.

I want to run the Savöx because I already have them and they save me a lot of weight, 45gram itch plus they are very good.
Do you think I will get close to 1650gram without titanium screws and pivot balls? or should i just go with the flow?

I use the Kopropo Bsk3 power servo for throttle and the Kopropo gripper servo for steering and they are both low profile servos. The wires are tight but no issues with that. For the battery pack I use the exceed 1300 lipo battery. The car is pretty light and I have added 20 grams on the side off the motor mount below the tank. hth.

Hello again,

got the car on monday from italy and i have started build.

My second gear vibrates when i spinning it on the axle. Do not know why it is like this and im think about grinding the screws to make them flat. They might touch the gearbox? Is there someone with similar problems? Have i done something wrong?

yes you interpret it correctly Vibration Could be a bad bearing but if the screws are hitting verify Tight and that it could be just adding a shim between bearing and "gearbox" yes that is what the book calls for you will need to adjust once you are up and running
