As well as the New F206F1 F248 Body! and I will be finishing the D-D F206F1 as soon as my carbon fiber comes in This will take the F103GT and turn it back into a F1 car but in the F201 Wheelbase and use the F201 Wheels and Tires and the MLP F248 body and we are looking at getting foams finished for them as well as for the F201 and other MLP Cars.

if you cannot find the Tamiya shaft you can also use the Kyosho or HPI F-1 shaft and cut it down. Both can cometimes be found in the bargain bin.

Thanks for the help Jim, Sal was able to order me an Aluminium rear pod with a built in motor fan from 3Racing. What I do need to know is what rubber tire compound would work on the F103 AND the F201 for medium high bite carpet? We also have an asphalt track under the carpet and I would like to know the compounds for asphalt too. I'm not sure what the grip is on the ashpalt seeing as we haven't run on it yet, it's brand new!

Default different tires/sheels?

Can someone tell me how to convert the f103 RS to use standard tires and wheels or something that is easier to find and purchase?

I dont know if the f103gt rear hubs fint on it or not, or what type of wheels bolt up to it directly (if any)

Thanks

Tamiya still carries the wheels and tires for the cars in various compounds, no reason to convert yet.

I need another option. LHS wont carry them and I need something that I can pick up at the drop of a hat, not wait two weeks before I get any type or response from the company if they have them or not.

I have obviously had issues with tamiya about getting these pieces. plus, I need a rubber tire, the ones tamiya makes arent good and dont last.

any ideas?

Try APS, they are a US based distributer for 3Racing. The will have what your looking for. I just found my aluminium rear pod there.

Seattle Indoor Raceway 425-251-6119 has a good stock of parts and do weekly Tamiya orders, if they cant get it, it aint made no-more.

Tires, Sorex 28's work well on carpet and asphalt.
