I've ran mine on 4s and it runs very good and fast don't get me wrong. I was just trying to get more run time and efficiency with 6s, I am shooting for 15min run time so one pit stop in a 30min main.

Are you running the 1/8 scale 2650 with 4S?

Yes I was running the 2650 with 4s but now I am going to try the 1900 with 6s, if you do the math with 6s it only 1000rpm faster than the 4s with 2650 but way more efficient.

Thanks for the update! I'm kicking myself for selling the new mrx4x I had sitting in the closet a month ago.

Default weight

My converted Evolva comes in at the minimum of 5lbs 8oz. The caveat is that it only has a 4s A123 pack. I was looking at making a new chassis so as to double the battery capacity.(4s2p) This would at a minimum bring the weight up to 6lbs 2 oz. At what weight does it cease being a competitive car and become a TANK? Do all of the gas cars come in at 5&1/2 lbs? Thanks, Don

Default weight

Perhaps I was a bit obtuse. I'm planning on making a new chassis for my converted Evolva. At approximately what weight does it go from being a race car to a TANK? Thanks,Don

we just got our new batch of Tekin lower KV motors, speedos, pinions, and stuff. so we can now get back to getting our three prototypes back on the track... thinking we are almost there, and looking forward to seeing them on the track with the nitro 8th scale cars.

Default 950R conversion

I'm planning on converting my 950R using the 960 conversion. Between Amainhobbies, Stormer, and Speed Passion's own website, there are three part#'s....? Ordering direct from Speed Passion would be crazy $hipping, Stormer has 2 in stock, and Amain has none. Are they all the same?

got the Speed Passion conversion installed. Few questions...

Exchanged an email with stormer customer support and he stated that this conversion is specifically for Speed Passion motors, will castle or Tekin fit?

I understand the use of Mod 1 pinions/Spurs. Am I limited to serpent spur gears, due to the adapter?

any help would be great!!

Default spur gear adapter

I converted my Evolva to 32 pitch gears. The 3 hole mounting on the spur gear adapter just happened to be the same as what is used on an E-Maxx. Take your spur gear adapter to your LHS and see what fits. Don
