I haven`t been on this site in months and Nothing Changed.
-I thought everyone would have put their Pro 4`s away by now.....?.....I was wrong.....Ha Ha!
There`s very little Pro 4 parts available out there; so be carefull when you Run/Race it. . . . .-My Pro 4 is on a Shelf(I`ve had it for 3 years). I don`t want to take the risk.
For a good Set-Up: -Stay very close to the stock build.
-I don`t use the 1-Way(it`s crazy).
-The Spool works very well on Asphalt that is prepped(a good sweep). But you will kill Ring Gears if you`re hard on the throttle and brakes. . . . .Best with Stock and 19-Turn Motors.

ok need to ask you guys a setup question...the pro4 is my main car for the time being until i can upgrade to the latest and greatest. The car runs great but i am having some oversteer under braking and low speed driving sometimes high speed but not as much. I am wondering what i can do to increase the rear grip of the car. I am running the thad garner '05 reedy race setup just without a rear sway bar and the 1.8mm sway up front, with Sorex 36r's all around on outdoor asphalt. thanks for any help you guys can give i am sorta new to the touring car thing and with all the adjustments i am not sure where to start.

Hey shadow; to reduce some of that Oversteer.....install Softer Rear Springs.
-If you are using the Front Spool or 1-Way you should be alright.
-Check the Rear Diff; a Tight Rear Diff can cause some Oversteer.
Don`t kill that Pro 4. Parts are getting Hard To Get.

ok sounds good i am using the front spool. It looks like i am going to try some softer rear springs then. And dont worry besides a cracked a-arm the car is still doing great. It only needs to last threw the season and i think i have enough parts to keep it going
Rear shock Silver or blue !

I've had problems finding the rear shock tower.

I new this Pro 4 spot would die down.
But anyway; I raced(mostly just ran it); but I ran it for the 1st time with the Spool installed. . . . .It runs very well. I`ll never run a R.C. Car without a Spool again. It totally out-ran My Evo 5 by 3 seconds(both kits have the same electonics). I ran the kit very close to the box set-up.

I've been racing my Pro4's for the past couple of years now.
One in our Trans Am class (6 cell Nimh Silver Can) and in our 27t brushed/17.5 brushless class and both cars have been running very well!
I have some spares but don't think I will really need to worry to much as we use Road Rails for our track although 2 sides of the track are asphalt curbing! So as long as you don't go wide your usually o.k.
The only issue I had with my Hacker 17.5 brushless powered Pro4 is having to pick up pinions from 52-59 tooth!!!!
