Not only do the plastic ones break, but they are hard to find.

I have the Yeah Racing and it is very solid, but rather heavy. I prefer the 3Racing 4 piece kit and have never had a problem with it. The BL mounting is not an issue with my ballistic as the solder tabs are conveniently located and the sensor wire is also oriented out the side of the motor. You may find that motors with wires that come out the end of the can will be a tight fit.

Just run the 104 aluminum mount. Fits perfect. A few guys at the track I run on use them on their 103's

The F104 alum. motor mount will lower the chassis more than the F103 mount.

The axle sits higher in the sideframe and you will not be able to run your foams as close to the rim as you could with the 103 mount.

It works fine for rubber tires or new foams tho.

This is true, but those guys don't run all the way down to ribbons on their foams so I guess thats why they are using them.

Sean at TQ is a great guy!

Phone orders must be tough for him to do or he just chooses not to do them for any number of reasons.

It's great that he has chosen to stock the hard to get parts for our F1s tho, aint it?
He is definitely on top of the onroad carpet parts supply too.

If you see what you need and don't do paypal or credit card, maybe a friend can place an order for you.

Who orders over the phone when there is online checkout with live inventory?? You have two choices, in the store or online. Sounds reasonable to me ?

Sorry about the inconvenience.

Usually, when customers ask me to accept order over the phone, I recommend them to use online.

Because, over the phone there is more chance to make a mistake or miscommunication.

If you don't like to order online, please email or PM me the items you need.

Thanks.

I don't order anything to pay with a credit card or paypal over the internet.I've NEVER had anyone refuse an order to be given over the phone ever. I do this often with many question about what it is I'm buying. Making sure it's what I want. I'll shop on line but not buy online. I will send you an e-mail of the parts I was looking for later.

Ok, after reading 75 plus page of this thread I still have a few questions.

I just procured an F103RM, and I would like to know what the hot setup is.

After reading this thread I got some Ride tires and rims on order from TQ.

I've mounted my 104 motor pod on my 103, is that preferred or should I stick to my 103 plastic one?

I have the Fiberglass chassis, should I spring for a carbon one right away or will I be fine with the stock one?

I have the short top deck, should I also be looking for the long one or are the short ones sufficient for carpet rubber?

I don't run TCS so off brand is no issue, which wing sets and bodies are the carpet rubber guys using?
