Schumacher Corner

Well the first question is are they still being manufactured and can spare parts be had easily and directly from Florida since my LHS does not stock them ? I heard the chassis tweaks quite easily, how thick is it and whats the material 7075, 6061 etc ? Hows the acceleration given it's size and .21 powerplant ? I read it has blazing top speed so thats covered but nowhere is there any mention of acceleration performance, like can it pull off a corner as well as a 10th nitro ? Hows the diff and brakes holding out given the size of the machine ? Any problems or required fixes to do right away should I buy one or two ?
Thanks
Thanks

Congrats go out to Andrew Cartwright for his big win this past weekend!!!!!
In only his second race (2004 Northwest Indoor Champs) with the new Mi2, Andrew TQ'd and won both 19turn and Mod Sedan foam classes!!! Andrew learned a tremendous amout in Cleveland and things are paying off already.
The 2004 racing season should be exciting for Schumacher

Mi2 in US vs Mi2 in UK
Hello!
Is ther any difference between the Mi2 US version and UK version?
Do you guys know how much from Mi1 you can use as spare parts for Mi2?

Yes, the US version will be LHD, have DOT-marked windows and dual cupholders. UK version will be RHD and have E-windows
I don't think the MI2 shares too much parts with Mission. It is covered already earlier in this thread somewhere, but basically shocks, bearings, front bumper, driveaxles, belts and diffs(?) are carried over, the rest is new.

The pitch is the same, most likely the gears themselves as well. One more thing that stays...

Parts to carry over from Mi1 to Mi2 will be some of the obvious stuff like ball-ends, ball cups, roll pins, some screw sizes/lock nuts and spur gears.
Major parts to carry over will be lower arm mounts, bumper/body mounts, bearings, rear belt, CVD's (blades), wheel hexes with shims/roll pins, battery post, battery strap (flipped over), shocks and all shock parts, shock springs, shock mounts (recommend the Ti-Racing ones!!!), upper part of servo saver (arm, spring, bearing and post), servo arm, steering turnbuckles, internal diff parts (diff screw, diff rings, diff balls, thrust assembly, diff bearings and shims) and layshaft pulley (recommend alloy pulley)....I truly hope this covers all of it....oh, I forgot body clips....I'm sure someone will find something I missed.
If it isn't on this list, then its going to be new in some sort of way (materials etc)!!!!!

Hmm... so the front belt will be new then?
What about rear toe settings? Will it be done inboard or outboard? Extra pieces to buy or included in kit?

Olev, Front/main belt is longer. Toe settings, i think you're looking at different hubs.

Thanks for the information Paul - much appreciated. Does anyone know of any changes to dimensions such as wheelbase compared to the old car? Thanks.
