the 6.1 does not have the holes for it in the top deck. Rsd makes one for the 6.1. it goes on the bottom and also doubles as battery spacer.

Anyone having issues keeping the sway bar mounts from popping off on the rsd lightweight arms, specifically the front? I have my steering epa down enough that the knuckles do not touch the mounts at full throw, but every race one or both sides has come off by the end.

Had a surprisingly awesome training today.
As Stock driver I nearly never used strong motors since beeing in this hobby. For a clubrace next week I decided to participate in modified because I have no 13.5t motor for the stock class.
My 6.2 is setup for 17.5t blinky. I just changed the motor and was mentally prepared to have an awful pushing car. The car was the opposite! I never had this much fun indoor with this much power! Awesome how easy the car turned our tight hairpins and still had enough stability for the fast corner coming after the straight.
After months of driving a T4'15, I am in love again with the 6.2

Will it be worth it to buy a new TC6.2 or is the 6.3/7 on its way soon?

The last versions had a two year update rhythm.

Getting a tc6.1.... Suggested spare parts to order? Will be running 17.5 TC. Also gearing suggestions? Thanks!

Drove a TC6.1 for the last 2 years.
The only parts I had to replace from time to time due to crashes where caster blocks (broken) and steering blocks (worn out threads).
Once I broke a top deck - but I would not keep such parts as spare as this was simply stupid ...

I cut the back of the steering block off, then at the mount, shorten the lower ball cup by 3mm, use a set screw then put the original tc6.2 swaybar upper mount into the set screw. Greatly reduces poping off and bending of sway bar links.

Haha Cal Raceway decided it wanted me to leave the front right on the track, saved me a few seconds of tear down though

Yep, getting it prepped for TQ! Rick and I will be up there sometime in the next couple weeks for practice and pretty sure we will both be at the regionals as well.
