I've heard that stacking another one on and using longer screws to keep them in has worked. I'd like to see someone offer a wider front bumper myself.

GPM makes CNC billet pin braces. I have a set along with the orange OEM from HPI. You can find the product on ebay just type in HPI cup racer.

Newb here...

Just ordered my cup racer with the BMW 2002 body. Anyone know if the body will fit with the front shocks installed upright.

Any difference in having the shocks upright or laid down?

I've chosen this one from Traxxas 'cause that was the cheapest foam bumper available. Mind though, that you'd had to shave off about 10mm from the front of it too if you want to fit a body with a shorter nose and bumper holder B (like the Datsun 510 for example).

And there is also a nice foam block from Parma I'm yet to try:

Parma #8052, measures 3" x 8". Seems to be quite dense... Obviously you can make a few bumpers out of it.

Hey Bart Banaan and GryphunRacing,

Do either of you have the black and red decals left for the RSR? As I mentioned earlier, I only need the 4 red trim lines (they go on the bumper of the white theme) PM me if your willing to part with them and I'll buy them from you.
