Thanks for the feedback.

Hi, any news how the car performs around the world?
I'm still saving money :-( but like to hear feedback from the guys who have the luck to have one wildfire to race :-)

I made the A main in Touring stock and finished 9th.

Jason Schreffler made the A main in touring 13.5 and finished 6th.

Andrew Knapp was in the B main of mod touring.

The cars were good on the highest bite we have seen in years. The fields were stacked pretty deep this year.

Hi, it's very quiet here lately.
Is everyone satisfied with the car? Or did it happen that any problems with the car occurred?
What setup are you guys using lately on carpet and what tyres do you use often?
Regards

Hey Lutz,

From my side, I'm still glad i made the decision to buy this chassis. I find it very responsive to setup change and it carries a lot of corner speed. Its easy to work on, and fairly robust (any chassis has its weaknesses).

I'm running on asphalt and have seen my times improve steadily. I have been especially competitive in 17.5 and 13.5 is coming along well (both boosted). It doesn't happen often when you sit in the pits and think to yourself that the car is handing pretty much the way you want it to, but with the Wildfire its been happening more and more often. One puts it on the track and there's no guess work involved in how its going to handle.

I'm very happy, others thoughts?

I'm glad you are happy with the car :-) may i ask which car you had before and did you become more competitive with the wildfire?

What is the difference between the steering blocks?

I am also very happy with the performance of the car. Our current layout fast lap is 10.1 by 2 very fast/good drivers and mine is 10.3.
Its a very consistent car from the first minute to 6th minute. The one thing that makes the car better for me and that it feels like its on the track which allows me to be more consistent with laps. My t3'12 never felt like that. Many guys complained about that.

The only real complaint i have is the front c-hubs/steering blocks being a little weak. Ive since replaced them with xray and havent broke any.
I know vbc now has better material for those parts, but i have yet to use them.

I'll post my current carpet setup soon.

Hey Lutz,

I was running a T3'12, spent a small fortune on upgrades, springs, shocks driveshafts etc. etc. etc. and decided that its not as "luxury" as they put it. I believe a luxury chassis should not need upgrades, just tuning options.

Just didn't quite get the chassis to work for me unfortunately. VBC addressed many points on the T3 which I wasn't happy with in the Wildfire (toe blocks and shims, tuning options, standard equipment).

I believe it is a stronger plastic than the original part from the kit. The C-Hub and belts have also have a replacement part that is stronger than the original.

A VBC was 5th fastest during controlled practice at TITC yesterday in Boosted 13.5 category. This is out of 144 cars with drivers from around the world...
