Default Mamba Max Gearing

Hey guys , can you help me on best gearing combination.... I'm going to get a Mamba Max 6900. What is the best spur and pinion combination, 64 or 48 pitch. ... running on a large flowing asphalt, low traction, track... also on a technical track. Cheers

Default I would start with....

I woud stick with 64 pitch. Starting with the 98t spur, go with a 28t pinion and work your way down, The 6900 isnt as ballistic as the 7700, meaning that it will give you nice torque off the line without being overly aggressive. Checking your motor after say 10 minutes (you are running Li-Po right?), if your motor can is warm but not hot (120 degrees or so), it all depends on the top end. If you like what you see, stay there. If you want a little more top go up a tooth. More punch less top, go down one. Rip em and kill em!

@trjracing, please stop spamming the threads, you've made 4 utterly useless post in the past hour!! you cant expect everyone to be at your beck-n-call ... wait a day for a response or just edit your last post.

You need to fall back and play your position. I ain't spamming just trying to get guys to talk more on these threads. So fall back and speak about your r/c cars and or give the guys tech support!!! Be careful what you say because with me you'll get more than what you bargain for!!! I ain't the one so fall back and talk R/C's and don't worry about me!!! Don't start what you can't finish!!!
