Does anyone really think it's the cars?! I would say it's all driving. In real racing the best drivers can win with anything. It sure is fun to root for the buggy we own though, rcdude definitely drives an AE, lol

I just think that its pretty cool that the buggy that people think cant finish a 5 min run has more in the semis than the other companies.

And yes I do drive an AE.

I never heard anything bad about the AE buggy. You would know more since you drive one. I don't see how anyone can talk trash about a company that has been making quality race winning, and race proven Rc cars for so long. I did hear lots of negative stuff about the Losi, and my nephew drives one, and it is a real bitch on the servo's, and it does need tons of wrenching to keep it up to speed, but as proven time and time again, it wins races. people are always going to bash what they don't have, or don't understand. It's just Human nature, how sad that we are all human

Fast in the heats won't mean shit in an hour long final.
There are so many things that can make or break.

Yep, what you see listed in the top 16 are the best drivers. Give those guys enough time with a different car and the results wouldn't be much different.

At this level, they're all world class drivers. The choice of car certainly has some influence.

It has alot to do with tie in sponsorships. Losi guys run GRP, AE guys run Reedy, Mugen guys run Ninja, etc.

Vray is doing fairly well with RB's.

Let's see who makes the main before we count anyone out.

Lots of different brands in top 16. That is cool. A $370 buggy is as competitive as an $850 buggy in the right hands. I know hop ups and special parts for team drivers are used.

any news on some of the other brands
Nanda SX8
Caster
SH
OCM
Cronos
Piktor

just curious
