Hey guys,
I'm new to Tamiya cars, and just recently built up a Ta-05 v2.
its powered by a mamba max pro + 6900kv motor.
I took it out for a test run last night.. and drove it into the curb.
that has left me with a broken steering knuckle.
I'm looking to upgrade that to aluminum, just wondering what the correct part numbers are.
Also, I want to run CVD's as the ones that came with the car keep popping out.
does anyone know what would work for the v2's ?

How much slack do yall have ?
There are some belts with their teeth counts. And what they came out off.
Just make sure to match wide and slim belts with correct diffs.

(as per the manual and your nifity table, everything's stock by the way)
Center = 18T
Diff = 37T
Belt = 166T
And the A2/A11 combo is set to notch "#4" from the center (on the loose side). What does that all mean?
When I take my finger and press down on the middle of the belt, it depresses almost to the point where I can make the two touch. It's really slack, but it's the stock settings and the car works REALLY well. I don't think it's wrong, just surprisingly loose...

Guys,
What is the best alternative to eliminate linear drive chuckle, I have my TX down all the way to 70% but for short tight tracks the turn rate is to wide.
It has Tamiya 416 universals and spoll.
Other universals? Someone suggested piccking up the front suspension have you heard about this?
I apreciatte your feedback,
Marcos

But if you put it down on the ground and run it, the problem will go away because overall ratation is slower, plus the tire act as a resonance damping for the spool. There are no known problem with the chatter, even when running in mod. The TRF driver Jilles said: "The chatter which you get running a spool is normal, when you drive you will not notice it anymore." from http://www.petitrc.com/reglages/tami...ssisSetup.html

Does anyone run this for drifting? If so, what ESC or motor do you recommend?
