Guess in this world nowadays, good things come to those who publicly complain. lol.
My mail man dropped the package off not a minute after I made a post complaining. Opening the box Xray quality is amazing as to be expected. Even the packaging makes you feel like you've purchased something high quality.
Package #5 had gotten a small slice opening it up a bit and causing a small amount of pieces to scatter around the box during shipping. I hope everything is there but at quick glance it seemed all there. I Haven't been this excited to build a buggy in a while!

Well I would have had my car today but damn it Rc America! Don't send out a package needing a signature unless I ask for it! My xb4 was sent out with no signature required. I never have packages sent that way. FedEx can't even change it so now I have to get it delivered to a FedEx/kinkos.
EDIT: so it's a mistake for them to go out with a signiture. FedEx contacted Rc America and had them remove signature required for me. Good customer service from Rc America and fedex.

My local track has the Shumacher handout preglued rim/tires. What hex do you run if you are using those, stock or something else?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Can someone please check to see if a YZ-2 body will fit? I suspect the trim at the steering linkage might be a little different but it looks really close overall.
This would open up some options and include the Penguin body.

I built and tested my new XB2 this weekend.
Everything in the kit has a nice fit and finish.
But I was surprised to find that the screw hex sockets on the countersunk screws deform easily even at modest torque (using almost new HUDY tool).
There are 4pcs 3x18 countersunk screws that connect the kickup plate to the adapters for the front top plate, the material in those is what I would've liked to have seen for all screws.
So, be careful when tightening the screws and use good tools!
Car runs great by the way..
Feels very agile and nimble, and safe at the same time.
Handling jumps impressively with stock setup, forgiving on rough landings.
(Running slicks on felt carpet)
Best regards
Morgan

You will have to cut out a big part to have the spur gear protrude through the body (which will not be legal in most race series).
The same problem is present with the B5M bodies.
We tried different bodies during prototyping as we didn't have a stock body yet and none were a good fit in the area around the spur gear.
