word is that when you put a lipo in the type r it becomes very agile and is very fast.....i guess the car transfers quicker and is still balanced even tho the lipo is lighter!

If that's the case, it's a dream come true for us LiPo guys. :-) Trying to balance a traditional chassis with a LiPo has been challenging, and not adding weight doesn't seem to be an option since the car is so out of balance.

yep stays balanced and there is no need to rebalance the car a very big PLUS that seems to be a well kept secret.....

My Ott light with a scarf drapped over it!

The smell of rosin on my Hakko's tip!

The gentle humming of a Dremel in the background!

Is the general consensus that we're waiting for the car because of the Chinese new year? The bulkheads or whatever are over there being machined still, except not this month?

I wonder if there's any chance we'll get the car earlier than the end of March. Yea, probably not. :-(

In the video of the Snowbirds, Dumas' car looked really good. To me, it looked distinctly different in the turns than the other cars.

I seriously would not count on it. Pooky will have plenty of time for a good wine selection for his first intimate night with his new kit.
