That sure looks like a 25x25 fan. Could be ripe for replacing with something good.

Yeah, I've been looking at that too. They seem to be differentiated most often by the pin spacing. I'll measure the one on the stock fan when it shows up. I don't have the LRP connector to measure.

On your fans, have you ever considered using a small dab of something like hot glue to keep the wires secure in that groove? Wires breaking off are what almost always kill my fans.

i generally route the wires through one of the screw holes when i chassis surface mount. i might need to look into something else for ESC mounts.

Around here, we all use a tiny dab of shoe goo.

I put the first runs on my new fan this past weekend and they worked great! It isn't all the way "Florida hot" yet - but so far I'm very pleased. Thanks

I just wanted to let everyone know that I've been able to get a few more Nikita Outdrives back in stock. These are the last of the "V2" outdrives that support 52mm long drive shafts, so get them while they are still available.

There is another manufacturing run of Nikita Outdrives on the way... but the design has changed slightly again. The focus isn't on supporting 52mm dreive shafts, but bringing back the initial ultra durable design and enhancing it to reduce the load on the spool drive train by having the drive shafts at a different rotation angle - 90 degrees apart from one another. I'll provide more info on this once the production units arrive and are track tested.

Ran the Seis Fan sweat shop tonight to ensure there won't be any shipping delays.

Got some expected news from my machine shop -- they are late again! Was hoping to receive new Nikita's today, but it looks like they will be delayed until at least May 9th. Joy

I wired up two Seis Fans into a single Terry Servo Plug tonight in my new Photon EX.

This is the first time I'm running two Seis fans off the same receiver plug. I'll let everyone know how it goes. It sounds really good on the bench...

I have a question. If I am using 50mm shafts with Nikita's, I should have a 1mm shim in between the axle and the outdrives? So the shaft sits a little deeper? Or should I just absolutely put 52's on?

The Nikita outdrives are longer than XRay stock so that shims are not required.
