I got the chassis all done, wired up and running, and I got a clear body fitted. I'm going to bring that with me and check out the other F1s, as suggested. I have a feeling I'm going to go for the scale side pods, I think it'd bug me if I half-assed this body. I have to say, building the SP1 has been a whole new experience for sure! Nothing like anything I've had before. But I love it

Looks nice:-)and nice video...on that 3Racing front sospension I reccomend getting the aluminum upper arm mount. The stock one slips and changes your caster angle.

Here are my final updates to my Jim Clark Gold Leaf Lotus 49 that I showed last week. The updates are as follows:

1) I added knock off wheel nuts for a more 60's look to the wheels

2) Added the red wires to the intake trumpets as per the real cars.

3) reworked the rear anti-sway bar and added lower mounting points to it.

4) shortened the upper rear suspension arms...the previous ones were a bit too long.

I think I'm finally satisfied with the appearance of the car. Hope you all like it!

This will have to be done in 2 posts as I can only post 5 pictures at a time.
