546 miles!!! wow..

BTW, I have TT-01R and it has gear diffs and steel dogbones and axles. I bought ball diffs but they are designed to be used with stock plastic dogbons and axles. Do you have any idea how to use these ball diffs with tt-01r??

Thanx Asil, this answered my second question, I think. Did you buy the Tamiya ball diffs 53663? Then I guess you'll need the part 53806 to use your universals with the ball diff. Maybe someone here could confirm that?

if you have a tto1 and the shock springs have no preload on the shock body .i used some rubber o rings .just sit them on top of your spring when you put them back togethor and then your front end wont wobble as much.
i have tried a lot of gear ratios and found the spur/pinion gear ratio of 58/23 works real well without losing to much bottom end.
well hope this helps out other tto1 owners.

This is correct. I bought my universals before buying part 53806 and they did not fit properly.

I can check if the universals look the same as the steel dogbones on the diff side. I have the TT01-R from the 24HR race here. It sucks in terms of durability mostly because of the aluminium turnbuckles that break far too easy. During the race all teams replaced the adjustable suspension with the normal suspension without aluminium turnbuckles.

Do you guys think the 2degree rear toe blocks affect top speed on asphalt too much? Anybody compared them with the stock 0 toeblocks?

@asil:The metal dogbones of the TT-01R and the 53792 TT01/TA04 Universal Drive Shaft habe pretty much the same end. So 53806 as diff outdrive should be ok for both.

Could you maybe figure out the weight of the ball diff? I am trying to get the weight of my car down. I will change my 9550 servo to a 9650. And replace my Spektrum HRS Receiver with the spektrum Micro receiver. ESC will be an iCube. Pretty much stock electronic, eh?

Default TT-01 Bodies

What bodies can I get that will fit the TT-01's? I'd really like to find a Corvette body. Any help?

Thanks,

Derrick

Proline and Tamiya have made Corvette bodies that I know of, maybe more too.

Looking for a Body Kit (clear uncut body, wing and decals) for the 58323 - Schnitzer BMW M3 for the TT-01 chassis. I checked Tamiya's website and could not find one. Any idea if they make a body kit for this or do I have to buy the body, decals and wing all separate?

thanks.
