Scottrik, our LHS has 2 in stock let me know if you want one. Here are a couple more pics.
TonyG, Cool job on that RWD mini. Any chance of a youtube vid? Did you have to run motor in reverse and did the motor perform well like that?

Thanks for the pics Wm. They ARE the BRE-type "bubble flares"...BUT IT'S A 4-DOOR!!! ARGH!!! No idea what the heck they were thinking doing that. My guess--they looked at somebody's tricked-out 510 when they took their pics and measurement to do the body not realizing the difference.
Ah well, I'll have to get one. I'll send you a PM.
Thanks much.

The first TCS race at Trackside Hobbies, Milwaukee, WI is over. The results are in on RWD verse FWD Minis. Eight of the ten car in the "A" were FWD, the top three were FWD. The RWDs qualifed 4th (me) and 8th my son. The best lap time for qualifying was 14.1 seconds, my best was 14.2. The track was fairly open and had a good straight away. I don't have the final count yet on the total number of Minis that entered, I'm guessing 30-40, it was the biggest class. Out of that total there was about 6-8 RWD. My buddy Matt S. won the class with his rocket ship M03m. Nice job Matt we'll get you next year.

We'll look into some video over the next week or so. If we do it'll be announced here! And on rc-mini of course.

I'm intrigued myself.... I cant see how it would work at all!
The only similarities I think are the suspension bits?
If its easy then I spent 3 hours chopping up a FWD for nothing!
