I have had some success indoors this winter in 13.5 Spec at Bush River Raceway. I've been using the Peerless 1s 7000mah/80c pack.

1-TQ and Win *new track record*
1- Q2 and 2nd place finish

Default Snowbirds

Great showing so far for Speedzone at the Snowbirds by Chris Adams and Sal Amato. Really tight times to make it into the A main this year.

Default Snowbirds 2014 Finishes

It was what I consider a really good event for the Speedzone Team.

Results:
Chris Adams - 2nd 13.5 TC A-main.
Chris Adams - 8th Mod TC A-main.
Sal Amato - 6th 17.5 TC A-main.
Michael Toth - 2nd 13.5 TC C-main.

Chris ran the full Speedzone lipo and motor package in Mod!

Great job guys!

New, I think that car was about 300 or 350! Still cheaper than the TCs of today.

Yeah car is like new as well. And some of the bd5 mods have already been done.

We have a local track here that is trying to reopen but we have to get good turn outs before they want to repave and re seal the track.

Another good weekend for Team Speedzone. We were finally able to get on our off road track this past weekend after a few cold and wet months here in the Carolina's. Ran 1/8 E buggy, qualified 2nd and took the win. I also ran 2wd buggy and qualified 2nd and took 2nd. Running both new vehicles in E-buggy (Team C T8E), and 2wd buggy (TLR 22 2.0). Very happy with both vehicles and had a blast. Thanks Speedzone.

Hey gavin or andrew.

I have a few questions on the peerless motors.

For 17.5 its all about can timing to get that top rpm.
What do the speedzone motors come with.

As far as built in timing and max timing.

Is it 35 built in and every line on the can is 2* so 45* max?

I'm pretty interested in this as well, the info doesn't seem available anywhere I've looked online

The arbitrary numbers can be deceptive. In practical terms the peerless 17.5 motor set to the last positive hash mark is similar in timing to a d3.5 at 22*.

Sorry for the late reply everyone. Andrew has done some great testing on the motors so he knows how they are on the track. And like every motor, there is a sweet spot. The timing itself is 32-34 degrees at max point.
