PM me with any TLR SCTe win and I will post you here.
Anyone who has been reading the thread knows the diff pins on the first shipment of trucks have diff pins that are to soft for brushless power. Losi has updated the pins in the second shipment. If you suspect you have the older pins, contact Horizon Hobby (877) 504-0233, they will send you new pins free of charge. We don't need you to post about how pissed you are, we get it... It happened to all of us.
Diff Pins
The diff pins in the truck have been fixed in the seconds shipment of trucks. If you would like aftermarket pins, I suggest using Chrispins ([email protected]) or visit his forsale thread located here - http://www.rcshortcourse.com/forum/s...ad.php?t=18851
Diff pin length
24 mm long 3mm thick and the grove in the middle is 3mm long and 1.5mm deep
Chassis droop screws
Keep an eye on your chassis where your droop screws hit the stops. The small screws will chew down the chassis over time and cause premature wear. You can prevent this by installing 4-40 x 4mm Droop Screws (part#LOSA6253) http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products...rodID=LOSA6253
Servo Saver
From the factory check your servo saver for tightness, we have seen this comes loose and causes steering issues. Red loctite seems to be the fix, blue loctite just doesn’t hold over time.

Default It's about time!

Sure nice to see they went with a roller without electronics.

Can't wait to see some close up pics. I love my Ten-X and will see how it compares to the production truck.

Me too, I am curious to see if they kept the same beefy parts from the Ten T on the Ten SCTE. And curious to what they used for axles, same 6mm as the Ten T or did they bump down to standard sized.

Looks good. I will like to see some more info about it though. Doesnt look to be what everyone thought it would be as it appears to be a different chassis/layout than the Eight Buggy. The Eight Buggy is bulletproof in my experience so maybe this will be too. Lets just hope its not made by the same guy who designed the Strike (out) .

It's pretty close to the 8ight, just a little smaller. And honestly it looks exactly how I thought it was going to be... A Ten T with SC wheels and SC body.

TLR is for racing though, this is only an SCT.
Doens't look to bad though, pitty it wasn't a kit instead of prebuilt.

SCT ARE for racing just as much as a buggy is.

Every Pro driver I can think of is RACING one if their company makes one. They get paid to put their brand on top so I'm pretty sure they're racing when they put them on the track. For some of us die hards 1/10th mod buggy is the ultimate class but with the SCT class bringing such a huge fan base it's VERY important for them to put there truck on top. Probly more so than buggy. SCT is the new win on sunday sell on monday for these companies. IMO anyway.

It should be TLR product for sure. SC's are not really bashers IMO especially with how huge the class is now. Ditch the 'race roller' release it as a kit and slap on some TLR logos. Save the "Losi" brand for RTR's

Looks like another home run for Losi. Just waiting on a TC and a 4wd buggy
