For the F-103 Rubber tires it's hard to beat the RIDE A Compound.
Check with Sean @ http://www.tqrcracing.com/
He is in the process of importing the RIDE tires and will have them in stock.
This is in California, so shipping fees, and the sometimes months of waiting from RCmarket shouldn't be a problem.

The ride tires are good...but you want to make sure you get the right compound for your surface. The A compound rubber is made for colder climates and will get greasy and slippery on a hot track. The B compound rubber is made for warmer climates and will work better on a hot track.
I hope they bring in some B compound tires as well...I could really use some of those.

The Pit Shimizu tires for the F201 were the preferred tire...however the Pit Shimizu tires listed on RC Market are for the F104 not the F103.

Not on the F103...but the medium compound for the F201 was a very good tire. I look forward to trying it on my F103.

To anyone familiar with Cross bodies and wings. Are there any mods needed to mount the Cross front and rear wings to a F103 ? Isn't Cross gone? I remember something about a fire burning it down. I need a body for this F103 chassis, what would be best to get ? Something easily available including front and rear wings. Suggestions?

The Tamiya "C" type body is cheap, easily available, includes wings and is a good performing body.

Thanks very much. That story about the fire was a few years back so I'm probably mistaken. Thats good because they have some great stuff.

Just found out something interesting...
www.rc4less.com
Carries foam tires/wheels for the F103. Rears are listed as a 28 shore and fronts are a 43 shore. Not sure how that compares to other compounds. However they are located in the states, Georgia i think.
I've ordered from rc4less several times and have always had great service.

Will fit but with modifications:
on the rear, you'll must put a 2 or 3mm shim between the motor mount and the T-plate.
On the front you'll need to change the wheel bearings because are larger on the 104, and if you want to mantain the ride heigth, must file the front knuckles 2mm and move up.
Even that with the 104 wheels the rear end will be narrower than the front due to the different offset of the 104 rear wheels
