I think Im gonna try his full Reedy race setup minus the drilled rear arms.

question- what does lower fron suspension holder .5 mean? Is there a 1/2mm spacer under the front pivot blocks?

Yes, Tom. I was running the Jconcepts invite setup last week at Wolcott but felt the car was a little loose on power. I'm putting on the Reedy race setup as well.

Rather than just swapping out setups why not tweak the one on the car?

Default non cab forward body

I am not a fan of cab forward bodies, they just look plain ugly imho.

Does anyone know if the zx5 'shoot' body fits?

or any other normal looking body.......?

Another thing about the stock body, it has a massive hole at the back which looks like it was put there so that when a person who doesn't live in SoCal races in the winter, they destroy their electrics

I used an LAB03 Vulcan shell which is designed for the ZX-5 SP2008, by cutting it to shape before painting and gluing a few small pieces of foam here and there it can be made to almost completely enclose the car

any word on a center gear diff for this car? I currently run a HBD413 but love the way this car looks. I run a RB6 for my 2wd.

Not sure about a centre diff but just like the later ZX5s, the ZX6 has a pin in the front slipper outdrive which when removed allows the front and rear of the drivetrain to slip independently.

On the day the above pic was taken I took the pin out after round 1 which made the car a lot easier to drive in the slimy conditions and I ended up winning the A Main

Also if you get the ZX6 it's surprising how many RB6 parts are common such as diff internals, wheels, ball ends etc. which makes stockpiling spares a lot easier (I run an RB6 as well).

Ok. Good to know thanks. I really like my HB but have been drawn to the zx6 ever since it came out. Tough choice.
