I was worried about it also, but after a few tough tests the first race day it never moved enough to touch. This is with a D3.5 motor and a Robinson 48p pinion

I've noticed my pinion rubs battery just a little but noticed my rotor isn't shimmed correctly either so that might be why....

I agree, it's been used everywhere, but that's because it looks great when combined with the dark carbon fiber. Like someone else said, I never realized how much I don't like the orange until I saw the car in a different color.

The orange looks better wit my paint schemes (magenta/orange/yellow/ white ) . Think that's one reason I stayed with top so long it was the only red car out at the time . Lol

Its a racing car, I really don't give a monkey's about what colour the parts are so long as they work but if I had a to choose a colour it would not be blue, my second choice would not be blue nor would my third or fourth, infact I would have any other colour other than blue on a point of principle.

I couldn't stand the orange.. it's so ugly.

I was about to get the parts done in black because, so many cars are blue. But, figured I'm spending enough money I should have it whatever color I want and shouldn't care that most cars are blue. I think black wouldve looked good to but, would be a bit boring though. I was talking to Jim and he asked me what happens when I bend a bulkhead and I told him I guess its good I'm Broncos fan.

I remeber that someone had posted some T4 parts anodized in black..

there is a lot more spring options for the normal length shocks , a lot of the guys here are finding the short springs take too long to transition in fast chacanes , so they would like to use the HPI springs or Tamiya for indoors , not saying it is a must but it is nice to have the option

Greetings Phil
