Hy,
why you will need a Supercharger on a modmotor ? Last week in warschau we raced with a 4,5T on 2S lipo and Marc, Viktor etc raced the 4T and believe me the power on the straight you are happy that there is no turbo effect and the acceleration is really linear, otherwise it will be to hard to controll and also the motortemps are much to hot.
the only ones I know who are playing with variable timing on modmotors are the GM crew but also them are not really faster than he other ones on the straights . so for me in modified there is no need for these
regards Tom

As it is I've been reading of guys dumping 5000+mah 1s packs with 10.5's and the mod guys regularly dump them too already.
Running "TURBO" or "SUPERCHARGE" or whatever else everyone else calls it with modified motors just seems like an all round very bad idea.

If you need your mod motor to be faster, just use a lower turn mod motor.

Actually I have run turbo (non SP speedy) with a 4.5 with good results although it is really hard to prove that it was faster one way or the other. The HUGE problem with turbo on mod motors is the lack of linear speed with throttle control.
I would imagine though that the SP speedy would be one of the best on the market to play with turbo and mod motors weather it makes you fast or not.
