Hi guys just ran my gt2 pro with v3.0 10.5 motor
the track was very windy indoor carpet.. I put the 107 software on and to be
honest it was well punchy ( too punchy )..I ended up setting the punch to setting 2 out of 10. What is the best software to use for a indoor windy track ? I did think the brakes were a little spongy also.. All in all very happy with the product

It’s obvious he has an agenda, I seem to remember that once when one of his repeated questions was answered he noted with some satisfaction that he had plenty of others to use. Sad part is, if he used just half of the energy he puts into trolling here he could possibly be a success on his own. But apparently it’s more fun to attack someone else’s success than risk his own over inflated sense of self.
The price of an open forum I guess.

This Speed Passion thread is very interesting at first glance. And almost make myself purchase GT2 Pro to replace old-trusted GTB and SS. Sadly at some concerns it turns into boring debates.
I'm also wish that he puts more of his energy for track time
Well, time is very precious matters as I believe most of this forum readers would prefer more track time than wasting time on TOO DEEP discussion about SP firmware area here,
follow talking it too deeply and we all get stupid enough...
Best upgrade is still on driver's driving skill anyway
My point is, the GT2.0 is no doubt is proven as GOOD ESC, and every ESC (read : ESC design) has it owns pros and cons. Every factory has it own constrains on design knowledge and material cost for given limited design time and target sales volume.
COST and QUALITY are closely affected each other. and Price are seldom lie tough..
Accepted it or leave it.
GTB and SS is tough like hell while its features is mostly outdated,
I get team wave rb50 on my hand, casing is ugly bling2 plastic yet features are more than enough to replace my Novak SS.
Next 2nd purchase will be lrp sx8 for heavy duty 1/10 and 1/8 on-road.

Rough FDR and Settings advice for 17.5 Duo on 107 software.
on 110 my FDR was 4.85, ATMS on max, DRRS on 8, Motor timing on Max. I dont run drag brake and brakes set to 100%. The car is quite quick but lacks a little punch and mid-range compared to others. So im going to try 107 this weekend, would it be best to drop any of those settings back at first? the temps of software 110 were 50 degrees C on the hottest part of the motor.

You may want to reduce DDRS and ATMS first and see how it runs. Then increase them again as required. 50 degrees C is nothing so you can safely go higher on motor temp (and temp will be higher with 107)...

Good question, when I tested the 110 and 107 the first time in January (all settings to max), I was faster with 110 as this one is smoother and I am not the best driver. However, now I have run a few times with the 110 with everything maxed out, so next time out I will test with 107 again. Will start with reducing DDRS and AMTS a bit to see how it goes and then bring it back up step by step...
Motor was 10-15 degrees C warmer with 107, but no problem as it was still only 70 degrees C with all settings to max.
