Has somebody already tried the new 6-holes pistons ?

I think it could make my car more agile on small technical track... But I've no clue about the oil grade I can start with...

Any idea about that?

I'm using with excellent results on small track and large, use Much more oil 500cps front and rear

While building the car, I found it interesting the front to be a one-way front. Thinking to myself how is the car going to turn that? Would this driving style be for those that like to swing the rear end or drift the rear end in turns?

Still 1.1mm. The diameter of the newer pistons is increased in comparison to tamiya or the older HB pistons. They fit SUPER SUPER DUPER AWESOME in the shock body. Little to no fluid will pass over the edges of the pistons. It will mainly be focused through the piston holes. They seem like they fit a smidge tight, but DO NOT sand the pistons. They smooth out when oil is introduced into the shock .

6 hole pistons are great on tracks where there is a good mix of different kinds of corners. They let the car flop around a little more at low speed, and pack up really good in high speed chicanes and such. They seem really effective on higher grip tracks!

As for Oil... We actually run fairly thin because the "pack" is more pronounced. It sounds funky, but you'll understand more when you actually try them. I started with Losi 35wt as per Hiro's suggestion, and settled on 37.5wt. Some people have run thicker from what I've noticed, but losi oil runs pretty thick for what it is.

Korey (or Hiro) would these pistons be a good choice on a car with the new 2mm lower shock towers ? I run on a 90 x 36 carpet that as the night goes by the grip comes way up.
I was thinking that maybe it would be too aggressive (?).

I like that. "Or Hiro". It makes me feel way cooler than him :P

I'd try them. I know Ty used 1.2mm 3 hole pistons at Carpet Nats, and the traction was still really high. I feel these make the car feel smoother than the 6 hole pistons, but I still feel the 6 hole pistons are worth trying . And yes they are good with the lowered towers.
