Yeah I'm currently running the Serpent one. Ah well, at least I found out before spending the money.

COOL Glad I could help.

The colour I answered for you in the painting thread and it is camel yellow not orange and is TAMIYA PS-19

Cheers, if I end up with some spare money I might end up giving it a go.

Going by these pics from the serpent site (pretty sure it's the SP body), I could make the car look decent side on, just won't look crash hot from above.

That is a Tamiya body nearly the same as you have been looking at.

The Tamiya body is the MP4/13 body set from the F103RM. I have 2 of the same New In Package at home in bags on the shelf. The body is a lot wider at the rear than either the SP body or the F104 Pro body. It was meant to cover a transverse stick pack battery! It is also shorter!

Yes someone has painted this color scheme. The big thing to avoid to make the huge top cuts on the body are motor tabs. Get a motor with end bell lugs like the Speedpassion or Hobbywing motors if you can. That alone will lower the body 5 or 6mm.

Default Mercedes Benz W04

Hi, I always wanted to build Lewis Hamilton's W04 car and finally completed it.
I did not use the Ferrari F60 body that everyone uses so chose the Ferrari 2012
body with the Mercedes livery. I am very happy the way it came out. Attached
photos. Regards

I made a Tamiya F60 body for on my Serpent F110.
Indeed you have to cut out more then on a Tamiya I think, but it for sure looks ok though!
Going to drive it in the Dutch nationals round 4 this weekend!

Kind Regards,
Tim

Cheers guys, definitely going to give it a go when I get some spare cash then. I run a Tekin motor so it's got the top mount lugs but I might be able to rotate the motor to get around the issue.

Ok, I did a little more research on the Yeah Racing Transformula kit and found this PDF

insert "ww" followed by "w.yeahracing.co" followed by "m/catalog/ima" followed by "ges/transformula_manu" followed by "al_p17_p18.pdf" into your search bar

(forum wouldn't let me post links so sorry about that)

Scroll to the second page and It has a title that says "optional parts" with some part references below it. Are the parts shown on this page the parts required to complete the kit?

Looks awesome. Cant wait to hear your track test. It's been very fast in the latest ETS races :-)
