Beta Bob,

Most TC at this level do not come with a body. The reson why supply a body that can or can not be used? TC can race on carpet (foam and rubber) and of course asphalt. So many bodies so little time.

The car will come with a ton of things that allow you to dial it in. The biggest thing is what body. AE allows you the driver to pick the body that best works for your racing scene (carpet/asphalt)

RTR come with a body but they are for people just gettin started

Hope that helps

oh that makes sense i was just wondering because my tc4 kit came with a body and just needed to know what i need for when the tc5 comes out. I don't have to use tape to hold batteries in the tc5 right?

No tape, unless you want to. The TC5 comes with a carbon battery strap and also has battery retainers on the side which is a great addition.

I'm sure that lots of drivers will use tape though. If you have the battery slots filed out right there is little chance of losing the battery

Yeah, I think the 3200 will fit easy, the 4800 should fit without too much drama. I don't know much about them...

I wonder if the TC5 will share the fate of the 415 being released in Japan and Europe weeks before it hits the states? They are manufactured in Japan now Right?
Just curious!

AE stuff are manufactured by Thunder Tiger and factory is in China (AE is owned by Thunder Tiger). Therefore Hong Kong and China will have first before hits states.

Thunder Tiger is in Taiwan, not China.. They are not the same thing (Canada are not the USA )

However, your point about HK availability is 100% correct. Parts availability in HK for AE is very good..
