Juho what effect is had when you run the outside hole on the steering block as both yourself and craig did at this race. I have never tried the outside hole. Is it something you guys run normaly with rubber tires ?

wallstreet: The outside hole gives less ackermann. I normally run with very little ackermann. Its the same effect as moving the inside ballstud forward. It normally makes your car more aggressive and gives you more steering.
sliprip: The O-rings are for more flex.

juho in talking with paul lemieux at a race at his home track right before he left for the lrp masters he said the traction we were racing on was twice as high as it would be at the lrp race and that was the reason he didnt run cause any type of setup testing wouldnt be worth it cause the track at masters would be much lower. Now the question i have is would running the outside hole be way to much of an agressive change for here in the states if even what we think is low traction is really high traction for you guys.
Sorry for all the questions just trying to learn some stuff.

It's carbon fibre laminated onto foam core.
I'm not so keen on them now

Wallstreet- I don't think Juho has ever raced with the high traction over here on rubber tires before, I think just foam. If you are referring to the ackerman specifically on the TC5, it should still be OK on rubber tires here. I am pretty sure I used the outside hole at the snowbirds in the rubber tire class. If yu feel like it makes the car to twichy and aggressive, use the inside hole on the rear A arm to smooth it back out and hook the car up. I was so amazed how one change like that made the car like night and day. Changing shock location on the arm made worlds of difference when compared to changing one hole on the tower.

I was looking at those kind of sizes myself.
I'm not sure if it's just the picture they have on the website, or whether that is an actual product example, but are we right in assuming the edges wouldn't look like that? As that wouldn't look uber cool on anyone's pit table!
I managed to bow my 12mm thick plexi glass set up board hence looking at 'stiffer' alternatives! Well it certainly tells me my chassis is tweaked alright
