Actually, the pins or ears on the dogbones don't slide into the oneway outdrive past the beveled portion of the slots on the outdrive. It is as if these pins or ears are to big or the slots in the oneway outdrive are to small. Can't even get the dogbones in far enough to stand the tires straight.

For those wondering, we took the spur / middle pulley assembly apart, rebuilt it, recentered it (with great care) put it back together, and that did indeed correct the problem.

Thanks for the suggestion.

Was able to get my first race on my TC this weekend. I used the stock setup and had a hard battle to get the victory. The set up is a little on edge, how can I get more of a neutral setting on asphalt? I was using Jaco blue tire and a 5.5 brushless.

What set up were you running? You need to give some of that info so that people can suggest what to try.

You can try my REEDY race setup thats on gearchart.com. They are very easy and smooth to drive. I think it should work for the TC as they are very similar cars. As for the springs try the stock springs first since the Hara "blacks" are hard to find, or you can try HPI "blues".

You cant go wrong with Hara's IIC rubber tire set up

http://www.hotbodiesonline.com/Set-ups/cycln_05IIC.pdf

But check out: http://www.petitrc.com/view_news.php?id=4553

browse thru all the set ups there on the carpet section and pick something from Andy Moore, Hara, Volker (team drivers).

That's my bad. Remind me to put you into the wall the next time out.....LOL You are going to have to modify your set up for different springs since you can't get those springs so easily......LOL
