I guessing the battery door is about 2in by 6in.

1/10in thick is 5.54oz(154g)

That sounds entirely doable. The question is, are more people going to want a plate for the Carbon or Platinum? If the goal is to keep as much weight as possible low, Carbon would be the way to go.

Although with the carbon being designed for traditional battery slots, it might not even work right in the LiPo tray. We haven't seen what that one looks like.

.......... BTW, looks like the Losi Team is looking strong at the Nats. So far as of this friday mornin', 4 cars in the Top Ten in 19T sedan.

I know I am getting, but now it is a matter of when. I never got the JRXS till about two weeks ago and I wanted back when it was supposed out. Man do I feel in the dark ages with it. Sunday will be my first day on carpet with my own setup, because other peoples setup don't make real good sense when you hear about all these mods others are doing. Oh well, I will figure it out formyself.
