yeah..it does use the same suspension arms, hubs, and a few miscellaneous parts but overall the car handles different than a pro4. It does not seem to have as much push as the pro4 does center off. Has better turn in also.

The Pro 4 and the TC 4 is the Best Shaft Drive Kits/Cars ever made.
-I have a Pro 4 and i can say it`s a good kit/car with every motor. . .and the price makes it even better.
- -Watch-out for Parts Support......They`re on a LOW.
I own a TB Evo 5 and I`ve ran a Kyosho TF -5. . . . .They don`t have Nothing on the Pro 4.
-The Evo 5 just looks Nice.
I retired My Pro 4 - Hara. It`s too good to beat-up.

I hear good things about the STR4 Pro II alot as well...
...and i didnt hear as many good things about the TC4 (i run a heavily upgraded TC3 myself, the tc4 didnt impress me).
but back on topic!
Pro4s are fast. <_< >_>

Just my .02 cents here guys but I converted my Pro 4 to accept xxx-s hubs and C's they are alot more durable alot more available and it puts a more favorable steering akerman to it and gets rid of alot of the push in turns . Retired it for a X-ray fk05 then brought it back for better lap times and more wins . Now it will be permanently retired because I no longer race carpet only nitro if anyone is interested I'd be willing to let it go for a song to someone that will use it right and not just bash the hell out of it in their driveway , if thats the case I'll leave it all pretty and on the shelf enjoying it's retirement lol
How can I actually set the caster settings??? Which is more advantages to use as in the degrees???
What difference does each degrees of caster does to the feel of the car????

Caster is set with different degree C Hubs. Its something to do with how stable the car steering is and how the steering will return back to a neutral (center) position.
It would be a pain to change out the C-Hubs each time i would leave them at 4 degrees which is pretty standard.

6deg = Best on-power steering
More castor puts more weight on the front outside tire proportional to steering angle. I've tried 2deg, 4deg, and 6deg. I like the 6deg the best. I can put the power down earlier in a turn. Helps when you don't hit the corner quite right.

That is why I asked coz I still have the 0,2 and 6 degrees C-hubs in spare....So instead of buying a new 4 degrees C-hubs, could I use the rest of the available hubs???
What difference should I expect??? Negative or positive difference???
Thnx dudes.....that was a quick reply guys.....

If your racing indoor foam I like the 6deg. If your racing indoor rubber I like 4deg. I also like 4deg on asphalt. What I do to get those degs. is to use the hub Carrier with the next lowest deg. and shim the front hinge block 1mm higher. This will add a little pro-dive, which will give you some off-power and mid-corner steering, at the same time advancing the caster near the desired amount of caster.
my HPI PRO 4 X2 is on sell now........ if you interest it, pm me. thank you!
No man its like I broke my 4 degrees C-hubs and I was wondering would I be able to use my other C-hubs which is 0,2 & 6 degrees instead of buying a new 4 degree C-hubs???
Which should I use??? What difference should I be able to feel???
Btw, Im racing on asphalt with rubber tyres.....thnx in advance....
Where's Mangoman when you need him???
