can someone measure the TOP springs with digital calipers and get back to me, I wanna buy a complete set for my Tamiya but am not sure if it will fit?

Well looks like im all set for vegas, looking forward to running the top car in 17.5 rubber i think it will perform good

All my stuff is packed, but I'll measure them while I'm in Vegas and let you know. Unless someone does it first.

Hear ya go...14.27mm Inside.Dia.X24.40 height
I did tried and the photon spring fit kinda sloppy over the tamiya shock...The photon spring is 1mm larger inner Dia. than the tamiya...

do you mean the tamiya springs are 1mm smaller inner diamater over the Photon's? that may work on my tamiya spring mount if thats what your saying?

yes the tamiya spring are 1mm smaller inner dia. over photon

The Photon comes with plastic spring adapters so the big dia springs work with shocks made for smaller dia springs. I don't see why you couldn't use those.

There are no issues running the TOP springs on TRF shocks, they are the same diameter as the HPI springs the Tamiya pro drivers run on tarmac

I built up some TRF shocks with the red bits from Tamiya for my Photon, and the TOP springs would slide over the end of the retainers during a run. I was using the alum retainers, though. Maybe the plastic is better. It was frequent enough that I went back to using TRF springs as well.

I drove this Sunday some laps with an other driver his Photon.
I can only say one thing, WOW!!!!
That car is great. I drove several cars from Tamiya to Xray and now mine TOP Scythe. My car is 3 years old and I want to replace it.
The Photon was already nr 1 for me but now I can't wait till I have it.
