Glad it worked. You can see it is change from what most were running, and it works. Let me know when you want the parts.

I always think the same lol. If I had to guess its the pivot ball suspension as well has the upper a arms.

I would say Fast Pete in Joliet has had the lightest car that I have come across. If you search the For Sale list for DM1 and go back a year, you should find the post which has the list of parts that he used.

You can use Jammin buggy suspension parts. May require some mods, and a SNR hinge pin holder. It has C-Hub suspension.
Sorry I don't have an idea on weight savings

My DM-1 has almost all that can be done to it to lighten it. I will try to find how much it weights. I still have the pivot ball susp but I changed it to Mugen Ti balls (or even the Mugen factory ones are lighter). Also you can change the steering hubs to the Mugen and save some more. You will need to use either Mugen or AE steering plastic linkage that are bent (they look like a hockey stick). This because the stock ones will rub on the wheels. While you are at it you can change the steering link to Ti as well. I used RC8 Ti turnbuckes, you can use these in front and in the rear.
