Just wondering why you need an adaptor, I was running 108 spur with 50 pinion last month on 17.5 BL motor. no problem.

anyway if you still want one you should look for one that made by trinity under matt francise name.

one thing if you want the BL on XXXS you will need to dremel the chasis where endbell sit, it look like clearing W/O dremel but its not.

My guess is that he wants to switch to 64P gears instead of 48P. I have a brushless system on my XXXs without any dremeling requirements. I'm using a Novak setup. What motor are you using that you need to dremel?

if you want to switch to 64p then just buy an 108t 64p Losi made gear, not a adaptor.

I was running Orion vortex 17.5 which should be shorter than a novak motor, endbell was touching the chassis and it makes motor crookit on the motor plate after I Dremeled it off I see motor was lower than my chasis.

Someone give me your input on this set up. I just bought this car for $100 any ideas on mods? What would the first thing to do ? I am new to this, I play with real cars.

Team Losi XXX-S Brushless Race Sedan

Novak Brushless 10.5T motor with Novak XBR Sport ESC.
JR Racing XR2i radio and JR Racing R125 receiver.

I will include a Duratrax 1500mAh NiCd battery and a Dynamite Vision Peak 2 charger.

This car has never had any broken pieces on it. It is in great 100% ready to run condition.

It currently has Yokomo staggered offset chrome wheels (lips are a bit chewed up) with Like New HPI Drift
tires on the back and Yokomo Drift tires on the front.

Yeah man, buy some real battery, some LiFe f.e. and drive as much as you can. Now in Poland xxx-s has a big comeback, many people buy it as very easy to drive and very competitive for outside racing Nothing better till now

Definitely get a better battery. Like a 3000+ mAh NiMh. You'll get much more run time and better punch, depending on how good of a set of batteries you get. Also, if you upgrade the tires to some racing slicks you'll get a lot more bite. I remember how big of a difference it made when I stopped using the kit tires and started using some Sorex's.

Finally, the best investment you can make is a setup station. Integy, Hudy, and others make them for 1/10 touring cars. That way you can set up the camber, toe, droop, etc. and get your car dialed in. That also makes a huge difference in how your car handles and what kind of traction it gets.

I will be using a XXXS G+ chassis for My VTA car. I have a question, does anybody have a set-up for a Li-po, brushless 21.5 application?

This question could be asked in 3 different threads, but hope it will be shown here. I was wondering if anybody has a picture of the XXXS with a Li-po installed, as early pointed out you have to shave the chassis a bit, and i wanted to see how it looked and fitted.

I can take some pics of mine and post later. The only thing I had to cut down was the raised tabs that go between cells and square of the lower part of the battery strap post mount low on the chassis. I'm running a Checkpoint 5400 with no problems.

Sorry it took so long to post pics, been very busy. Sorry for the poor quality of the pics. I circled the areas that I had to shave down. Hope this helps.

Anybody using a XXX-S in The Vintage Trans am Series? Was wondering if using a front spool is ok with those tires. Or will I start breaking outdrives?
