I've been club racing for years and we have never worried about weight at our track.
Its never been part of our rules....I love rules and rules are rules.

What is the minimum weight or max weight for 17.5 and USGT?

You think they would serve their purpose though, the castle fans?

17.5t minimum weight is 1380grams ... Usgt, I don't know.... If you want to win, you need light stuff... Most of the other cars out there are underweight in club races where nothing is checked. Some cars can weigh less than 1250grams while most tc4's are over 1480grams... No way to compete there if you don't run light everything...

Default USGT Weight

After reading the current posts, I decided to weigh my
Diggity Designs DC4. I was pleasantly surprised to find
that it weighs 1436 grams ready for the track, transponder and all. I guess I will have to add a little.

If you see me at the track come on over. I have it in my VTA car.

I found this pic. It shows where it mounts over the cuts in the chassis, under the ESC. It normally has 2 fans in front of the motor.

My VTA FT TC4 comes in at 1439g, with a heavy DS1015 servo. Thats 111g under the min weight lol

If thats the case then just run a 7.5t & a 3 cell lipo ... you wont have to worry about being overweight

The integy heatsink is nice but their fans lack power.... I got those heatsinks and I fit the wurks fan on top, while using the integy fans in non competition toys...
