I run on a carpet track with a lot of grip, no shims in the diff.
The outer gears looks fine.
All the gears in the diff are plastic, however the nt1 internal gears ars supposed to be a direct fit
Partnr 335030 gears
Partnr 335080 pin
Got that on order, so i think that it will work fine then..
Did run the durango on the same track with the same motor 5.5t, so this should not be a problem imo...

I have part number 335081 these should work as well.

Ok guys, I just measured all my rims. Someone else do the math, I`m too tired just now...
I measured all rims from the inside egde of the rim and down to the bottom of the hex. I used a digital caliper and a 2,5mm thick camber gauge plate I had at hand. I calibrated the the caliper using the thicknes of the camberplate, and put it across the inside edge of the rim. So each measurement is from the actual edge of the rim.
Each measurement was done at least 10 times as it is hard to keep a steady hand when measuring this way.
Xray rims:
Front: 23,2mm (total width of rim is 26,15mm)
Rear: 24,8mm (total width of rim is 37,9mm)
Xray hex is 5,0mm
Kyosho rims:
Front: 24,5mm (total width of rim is 27,7mm)
Rear: 26,0mm (total width of rim is 37,9mm)
Kyosho hex is 4,6mm
Durango:
Front: 23,7mm (total width of rim is 26,3mm)
Rear: 24,5mm (total width of rim is 38,0mm)
I dont have a Durango car, so I dont have the hex width on that car

A easier way to measure the offset is to mount the wheels on the car and place two small blocks/square objects against the wheels, then move the car out of the way, measure the distance between the blocks 25cm is max width per IFMAR.

Then you would have to take camber and toe into concideration, no?

yes, you'll need to run zero camber/toe. The offset of the wheels isn't enough information. Since every wheel manufacturer uses slightly different offset and wheel width, our goal is to find the correct offset, wheel width, and hex width combination to obtain a less than 250mm overall width (per IFMAR) and still be within the XB4 stock wheel width plus or minus 1-4mm. This is why measuring the overall width with wheels/tire mounted on car is more important.

I`ll have a go at measuring track width then.
BTW, Kyosho wheels have not enough material. The 5mm part of the shaft on the XB4 will protrude beyond where there should be threads for the wheel nut.

Yes, but you have to drill out the rims and hexes with a 5mm drill bit.
I was going to check the track width, but I wont drill out the hexes on the Kyosho, since I`m selling that car. Sorry but I dont think I can get more info, unless ther is a way aorund drilling the hexes...
BUT, do not let the hexes stop you from buying this car! My first impression at least, is that Xray has nailed this!

That's v nice.
Just looking forward to seeing more running on UK tracks and who the team drivers are.
