Craig - Usually front arm sweep will increase steering responce getting the car into the corner better - Sometimes it will make the car "twitchy" or hard to drive on the straights if you have too much. Usually though, once the car has set into the corner, I think it actually makes the car understeer a little more than straight pins. I've never been a big fan of this so I usually run only a small amount where EJ runs more than I do (always) but complains at times about his car going straight...lol...

Yep a "W" is a "W" but as 21 drivers were in an other final and the 13,5T driver is faster. What is a "W" than!!
My car was very nerves last race. I drive TOP Scythe full optioned.
Hat the front to blocks 1 and 0. think that i will put the 1,5 and 0 back.
After a few laps my rear tires got more grip and than it was better but not as good as it was before with the 1,5 and the 0. I got more steering but this was to much.

Do I have to spell it out for you ?
And I still want a Photon. Or hasn't anyone figured that out yet?
Seems to me I make a statement about one thing that is not positive reinforcement and all the (Fill in the blank) holes think they gotta slam me.
Well for one this is nothing more than opinion quota,,,
Take it as you will and get off my "neck".

Front rake is like adding more washers to the front pivot ball and making the hinge pins not parallel. Like adding toe out to the lower control arms but not to the steering blocks. Pretty neat trick.

Can't wait till i got my Photon.
It looks like my Scythe is slowing down but it isn't.
I'm now the one that must make shore that the races on our club go well and that has cost me 2 qualifications and 1 final. The first race of the season was my own mistake. The other 2 because i'm arranging everything to keep every body happy and make shore we have race leaders and a technical commission.
All the questions and people complaining about there disqualification is disastrous
for my own race.
I'm thinking to stop racing in the super stock at our club and keep it ad the M-chassis class next year and start racing in the national championship again.

EJ,
What are you using to hold the fans on your motor in this picture? Where can I get one?

That is one of my fan mounts. I haven't made any of those in a while. They are kind of a PTA. I have had contact with someone who is looking into getting these made cheaper than I can. These worked great. On brushed motors we saw a 20-40 degree temp drop. One of the rubber tire racers at our local carpet track used this last weekend on his 13.5 and saw about a 40 degree cooler temp using just 1 fan.

hey guys i have a modifiable setup sheet that you can put x's in the boxs then print out a filled out setup sheet. it also has a spot were you can put your spur pinion tire diameter and it will automatically calculate rollout and final drive ratio. it will also calculate toe just by putting the shims you use to space out the arms. the only problem is that the file is too large so if you want this file please email me at [email protected] i will try to get this to you as fast as possible. i would like to thank a good friend Alex Cortez he helped me do this.
