Default Lamborghini Countach

Finally got a set of vintage rims and tires for the countach. It made all the difference in the world.

I don't like body posts visible at all. I try to mount my cars using "invisible" mounts.

I did the ABC Hobby internal body mounts and while they looked awesome, the slightest impact knocked the body all crooked... And when the marshals tried to pick up my car they would snatch the body off....

I obviously need to find a better way to make invisible mounts

I use high strength adhesive backed Velcro. I custom make my own mounts using a 1/16" thick aluminum strip between the body posts, which is screwed into the posts (need a drill press and a small drill bit so you can drill a straight hole). I attach the Velcro, and position the body where I want it. Sometimes it takes me several tries until I get the wheel well gap right.

Attention all RCGT racers in the Chicagoland area! This summer we will be racing RCGT during the Asphalt Assault 2010 Series! The series will be for points contention with trophies at each race! There will be four events total:

Round One - "The Track" @ Harbor Hobbies (Winthrop Harbor, IL) June 20
Round Two - Al's Hobby Shop (Elmhurst, IL) July 11
Round Three - Leisure Hours Raceway (Joliet, IL) August 14-15
Round Four - Strictly R/C (Norridge, IL) September 11-12

We were able to add this class thanks to our friends over at Kicker! Kicker has jump in as the title sponsor for the class for the Asphalt Assault, renaming the class to the "Kicker Liv'in Loud RCGT Series" (Even has a pretty cool logo )

Every car that enters the class will receive a special Kicker RCGT Numeric Decal set exclusive to the Asphalt Assault featuring the series logo, Kicker logos, and numbers for your car! Kicker will also be updating the event on there web site, posting pics and results after every event! The Kicker crew will also be on hand at select events!

The class will follow the same rules that were run during the USVTA Scale Nationals! (Tekin V200, No Turbo/Cheat modes, Max 10 degree timing, No ROAR touring car bodies, and X Patterns of course!)

The event will be sponsored by: Speed Passion, Speed Power, East Coast Bodies, Kicker, Novak, Top Racing, HPI Racing, Solaris Racing Tires, Hurricane Motorsports, Team Epic, Great Planes, Horizon Hobby, Strictly RC, & More!

Other points contention classes to be run will be 17.5 Touring Car, Trans-Am, Formula One, & Mini.

For more info check out the RCTech Thread (http://www.rctech.net/forum/wisconsi...ce-series.html) or on our Facebook Event (http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=108643495846364s)

The E30 M3 is sweet! But it would be awesome if you could have this livery for it too...

For a Filipino like myself, that's comedy gold.
