I'll be stopping in at the paved nat's and hope to find out a bit more info for you then. I do know that it is super close to release. But no firm date yet.
Thank you for your support

Nifty and probably spendy. We considered this style of post in the original design, but decided the flex tabs made good contact and where considerably easier to use. Just slam them in.
As long as you are making good contact everything will be fine.
According to the tests performed recently by XRC cell balancing provided significant increase in performance. Single cell balancing is still a good practice even though the puke rate of the new cells has made some people shy away from it. I say fix the batteries instead of blaming the application and care.

Hi Guys (first post so go easy on me )
Been out of racing for a few years (work,wife,kids...etc)
Just decided to go racing again and shock my 1800mA Ni-cads are no longer state of the art
In the good old days when I was racing I had the best charger available at the time = TEKIN BC112A
I see its still a current model but I have been reading about deferent software. When I switch it on it shows 'E25'.
my questions are :
Is there anyway I can charge my new 4200 Ni-MH packs with this charger (as is)?
If not can this charger still be upgraded by software ?
I live in the UK, is there a UK service centre or do I have to send of to the USA
Many thanks
John

To be honest, we are focusing more on the new esc's and hotwire setup right now, but I understand a new charger will be in the pipeline, but I do not currently know of any time schedule for it though.
sorry for the vague info but its all I can tell you for now

This really isnt a question, but I just wanted everyone to know that the Tekin Battery Nurse is the shizzle... After a few weeks of using mine, I had noticed an increase in runtime and voltage in my older or lower packs and my A-main packs are holding steady This is a must have item for the hardcore racer who knows how hard it is to keep the new 4200's in shape... Keep up the good work over there at Tekin...

Nice to hear the gear is hooking up well for you Diggity, I have the Battery doctor, but the nurse takes even better care of the cells in respect that they just plug in and get looked after inbetween meetings, uber cool

Might be off the wall, but will the Rage power a Novak 13.5 motor?
I love my 1/12 scale racing and I have comverted over to stock brushless. Then my Novak SS lost a phase and studders alot during this weekend club race. So I was thinking since the Rage is smaller it would fit my 1/12 better than the old novak without breaking the bank. If you think this is a bad idea, I'll just pony up another $100 for the GTB 4-Cell.

No it is not made to run a 13.5. You might be better off waiting just a bit longer and get the R1. It WILL run the 13.5 and anyother brushless you can find.
