the Fan I saw on Hara's car was mounted at the end of the the endbell.
similar to what Trinity sells. but Hara's is custom made with longer screws and spacers... I though of doing it too a couple of weeks ago..but couldn't find a long enough screw.

a few racers were using the Integy or 3-racing motor heatsink fan like this:
http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXLUD3&P=7
but with the fan screwed to the outer holes positioned over the endbell.

Not taking anything away from Hara, but Billy's car was as good if not better.
If he was knocked over the board to a different part of the track shouldn't he have had to wait until a turn marshall put him back on the right section of track?

So you know for a fact Billy Bowerman called it?

It was a short board, and he was the leader and he was hacked from behind. I am only glad I didn't have to make the decision on what to do.

Figures, you stated it like you knew Billy called the stop and go. I did not ask him about it yet, but I will. Tracy thought Barry called it, not Billy.

Pops,

When you find out who made the call will it change the outcome of the race or just add fuel to a fire IF Barry made the wrong call? Or will you apologize to 51 and Barry if you are wrong?

Billy Easton,

great race this weekend and good luck at the worlds many US drivers are pulling for you to win.

I agree, it's a hard call to make. But even if he was "hacked from behind" does that mean it would have been ok for him to keep going without stopping and continue to lead the race?

People were flipping over the boards all weekend, the only thing they were told to do was wait for the cars to come around that were near them when they flipped, and then announcers told them to go. I seen it happen in alot of the mains, if the rule would have been enforced alot of main results would have been different.

Don't forget to pop 2 bags with extra butter. My only complaint was that I was to cheap to get a hotel. So, I drove 1 1/2 hrs each way everyday.
