Default Hm

We're going to be leaving shortly, heading up to Toledo, gonna try to run some pan. But it's raining here...I checked the forecast and looking like 30% chance up there, anyone have a decent idea what the weather is supposed to be like tomorrow?

It's pretty clear in Ann Arbor, should be the same in Toledo. Only caution is, Russ is running an electric program today.

The P8C has a 20/48 brake pinion/rear pulley and I think it comes with 18t pinion and 47t spur. Most change to 19/46 or so.
Original bearings too? Damn, they spin like crazy!

Yes original bearings. Everything on the rear of the car is original except for tires.

With longevity like this, who wouldn't want to race this class!

Now back to VRC Pro...laps and laps and laps and laps...

Default Maybe!

I'm not sure about this, but maybe while chasing the high tech go fast stuff, you lose a bite of the pure joy of the hobby. The pan guys (and Gal) are not a better lot, just a closer lot, both on and off the track.
LETS RACE SOME MORE!!

What's this "pure job" stuff? I'm in it for the pain, aggravation and expense, myself.

Missed my pan main, another oopsie on my part. My tank developed a leak...so I switched to the backup tank, forgetting that it had a leak as well which I'd never fixed. Once again, lack of attention to detail rears its ugly head. I think I'll put Tom in charge of quality control when we build a pan lest I overlook some other detail.

The running I did get in, however...my 4wd definitely needs more oomph to keep up with others, tho it is getting better, but I was quite satisfied just to run laps. If the car handles well and I'm not stuck in the pits with probs, then I'm doing alright. Maybe by the next club race I'll put just a few more minutes into the pan so I actually get to play (and maybe find a red car that looks suspiciously like a moving target to me.)
