Are you guys using the brass bushings inside the rubber grommets on your servos?

I didn't, I wanted to minimize the transfer of vibration from the car to the servo.

No gromet inserts here either. 6+ gallons, no servo issues.

Clean the shock shaft (inside the shaft where the screw goes!) and the screw really well with motor spray/contact cleaner. Use loctite and let it dry.

The original o-rings aren't too bad, but they can be a bit leaky. Losi is working on new o-rings. Until then, you can get different ones from Ultimate Products or TKO Competition Development and you only need to run one of them, and one stock o-ring. They have a little more stiction than the stock ones, but nothing you're likely to notice with a six pound buggy, haha. Once you run them once or twice, it's all good.

Servo brand has nothing to do with it. I think it is vibration that is causing the failures. So I suggest using either the rubber grommets or the o-ring idea. Maybe do both.

THE OTHER QUESTION IS I BOUGHT A NOVAROSSI 3 PORT #N21B I HAVE A JP1 A JP2 A OFNA 086 A OS 2050 A NOVAROSSI 53 AND A NOVAROSSI 86 WHICH 1 DO YOU RECOMMEND? ALSO WHAT PLUG? I LIVE IN ARK AND IT GETS REALLY HOT AND HUMID IN THE SUMMER.THIS SETUP WILL BE RAN ON TRACKS WITH STAIGHTS NO LONGER THAN 120 FEET AND MEDIUM TRACTION. THIS 8IGHT IS BY FAR THE SWEETEST BUGGY I HAVE EVER OWNED YOU DON'T HAVE TO DRIVE IT HARD TO GO FAST. THNX M.W.

Glad I checked my throttle servo again. I had the EPA to high. At full throttle it was right at the maximum opening. If you pulled on the linkage it wouldn't move anymore. Backed it off a few percent and now I've got just a hair shy of a mm buffer in there.

Hey guys I have a question I am new to buggy and I have the 8ight and I was wondering what tires do I run for what kind of track condions. I am going to be running proline tires always so out of there brand of 1/8 scale buggy tires what tires do I want to run on what kind of track condions. Thank you guys again. for the 3port engine I would use the Nova 083 pipe. King Headz 7075 shoes with 2 gold and 2 greeen springs. If you want more bottom end snap go all gold springs

maxx90- i run the clutch setup supermaxxrich mentioned and it is very smooth and will most likely be the best choice. as for a plug... I am in louisiana and pretty much run a os8 or mc9. for the 3 port motor i would say go with the 53 at 1st with the track being as small as you mentioned, and if it is too snappy on bottom go to the 86.

losi8ight-i just tried out the combo truthe ran at the nitro challange and it worked very well! i would say just get a couple setf of bowties and crime fighters in m2 and you will have a good tire for just about everywhere.
