I just got a DEX210 and was wondering what are good must haves for this buggy(hop ups)? I will be running 17.5(Tekin Gen2) blinky(Novak Club) class. Any good set ups for a blinky class? Only set up I see are for MOD class.

( ) - is what I have in the car.

MM4
The rotation of the motor is in the same direction as the rotation of the wheels. The torque of the motor is in opposition to the rotation of the motor and is ‘aimed’ between the motor and the contact patch of the tyre. This causes the rear end to squat under acceleration aiding forward traction.

What kind of set up you looking for MM or RM? What kind of track, how big, surface?

Must have hop ups, I would get a carbon fiber or Aluminum steering plate, and upgrade the battery thumb screws the plastic one suck, and maybe get a carbon fiber rear shock tower I have heard alot of people breaking the stock towers. Thats really the only must haves everything else is personal preference or bling.

cf never hurts and titanium buckles studs and hinge pins to drop some weight plastic its already lighter than the kit but those parts are the only other way to get lighter ,, i just broke the transmission case the ball stud pulled out so the cf rear camber link is pretty needed i only have the rear cf tower but diggy desighns makes a nice all cf front tower so theirs no aluminum metal types as the inner camber links ,,, has anyone weighed a rtr without electronics vs kit no electronics vs custom with cf/titanium ,setup i wouldnt change mine if i threw in a 17.5t in maybe lower oils just to handle the straights and bumps better but blinky you wanna downside so you dont need tons of pack and if your running light then maybe lighter on the springs to

exotek front bulkhead, front chassis weight, ackerman (steering)
Rear alum hinge pin holders FR and RR (ie both sides of the rear)

I guess the rear shock tower depends on how often you crash, specifically if you land hard on the top (upside down). I've never broke one or even seen one broke. (knock on wood lol)

I've used a b44 sway bar before when I run on really high bite carpet mid motor.

This sure would help if we could get are hands on them? I'm almost out of caster blocks.

Has anyone found a caster block off another car if it fits? I was thinking of trying a RB6's?

anyone noticing the front droop screw stops/ arms packing up with mud?
i noticed my car was great for the first 3 minutes of a heat sunday then like a light switch went to shit for the rest of the round.
i got back to the pits and found soft clay packed up in the arm/droop screw area limiting the droop.
i know i had over jumped a small jump to flat to cut a corner off, as its the faster line.
Just trying to decide if i should cut the droop stops off the front or not?

i am not a good driver so tons of nose dives and hard landings i noticed i had a problem with that real bad i used 1000 grit around the inside so smooth the plastic and simple green but wipe it out it helped it fallout alot easier to me and then i have the revolution front suspension block the aluminum doesnt stick to it alot ether

As 8ight-e said, suspension holders and rear towers are the weak spots if you have hard crashes. You can find a list of option parts here (a website I am making) http://durangofansite.com/DEX210aftermarket.html
