We are having our first race of a 6 race series this Sunday. We will visit 6 different clubs and tracks in the Nor-Cal area, three permanent tracks SpeedWorld, Ripon and Nor-Cal Hobbies and three parking lot club tracks Ground Pounders, RCCAR, and HobbyTown Fremont leading up to the TCS race at HobbyTown Fremont. There is a pretty good following of F-1 guys up here we hope to have about 15-20 F-1s at each race and I will try to keep you all informed on the way the series is going. Thanks Bill

Spotted on the Kyosho Japan website:
Length 414mm
Width 200mm
Overall height 86mm
Wheelbase 267mm
Tread (F / R) 170/155mm
Tire (F / R) Φ56mm × 30mm / Φ58mm × 45mm
Gear Ratio 5.23:1
All-up weight Approximately 1,100 g
Engine SIRIO 09
Going by the dimensions, and from what I can make out in the images, it looks to be Tamiya F103 / 3racing F109 sized, and may even fit the same wings / bodies / and wheels ?
So looks like there is a Nitro option coming soon?
(and yes I know this bit is the Electric section)

Started to build my f107 project.
It is a 103 rear pod/axle setup,109 front,104 upper/lower deck.
Waiting on the 104 plastic (battery holders, front wing.) to come in.

ONE PIECE ALUMINUM MOTOR PODS
I'm sorta interested in a one peice aluminum motor pod for my F104. Question is, in terms of quality, are they worth it?
I'm mostly concerned about axle alignment and bending.
Does anyone have any experience with these.
The two that I know of are the Yeah Racing and the TuneUp R/C. I'm kinda leaning towards the Yeah one cause although it was my first choice, the Tuneup one looks to have motor clearance issues from looking at pics.
The pic below of the Tuneup pod shows that motor clearance towards the front seems tight under the damper plate mount even with the use of a small spur gear.

I just looked at the Tamiya website and they have all of those in stock, which means any LHS should be able to get them in like a week or less, unless you order them direct and pay full price. I know I have some HBR's new in the package, have to look and see what compounds I have

yes I have one but have yet to ran it in a race, change the wheels to pan car foam. because stock tire's are juck
