stretched belts
Hi guys,
Has anyone had any experience with belts stretching.
Car has only had three race meets, first meet was spot on, then was crap thereafter. I then noticed the front belt was very loose.
After tightening the front belt and loosening the rear, the car seemed great again.
I hadn't changed anything from the first race.
So I am wondering now had the belt stretched. I race 13.5.

This is running mod & and stock
It may also be possible that the upper deck has moved from a shunt, in this case the belt tension could change significantly

A little something from the Awesomatix thread
Here a small update what we learned at the first outdoor races:
I have tested at the Worlds Warm Up and now at the ETS race a lot. At the ETS, traction was quite high so I ended up with the Alloy chassis. The car was very very easy to drive, just had a little understeer compared to the "steerkomos... " The Yokomos were unbeliveable fast.

Front Roll Bar Tweak
Anyone finding their front roll bars tweaked from new in black 14 kits? The last 2 i'v had the front roll bar is not flat on the glass and end up with one link about 2mm longer to get them balanced? Not sure if it makes a big difference once its balanced but i'd prefer if it was flat..

Hi,
I want to replace my phillips head Diff screws to hex head screws.
Will these fit, ZC-F258? or which ones will fit?
Thx!

I think, this doesnt fit.
You need tapping screw even you want hex.

Last night I was installing the stabilisers on the rear of my BD7 RS. Slight oversight in design by yokomo on the mount holes for rear bulkhead.
First the supplied screws a M3x8. Holes are M2 either a depth less than 4mm. You can't still deeper because you will run into the screw that holds the top and bottom half of the bulkhead together. Needless to say, I had to search for a shorter m3x4 , and hope it holds in a crash.
