Default NEW IN DOOR RC TRACK!! * Red Frog RC * Off-road

I just heard of a new, INDOOR, RC track...both on-road and off-road

It's called RED FROG RC and it is located in Forest Grove, OREGON.

Anyone been there yet?

Unless it's a fantabulous track, that's too far for me.

Default New track

Who ever gets the address or phone pass it on. It will be nice to have options of where to race. A-main is so close to home that I would only visit from time to time. A-Main is my racing home.

I'd talked to the owners Corey and his wife Trindi. There is an offroad and onroad asphalt track inside the complex, 60X60 each. Pit tables, power are provided. They'd invited us (me and Wes Zook) to check it out and maybe run a pack or two and possibly give them some pointers since they have limited experience when it comes to onroad.

If any of you are interesting in contacting them, their ph# is 503-320-7174. Their location is about 20-25 mins hwy drive from Beaverton.

I'll post more info tomorrow night when I get back from Red Frog.

Default UPDATE

I just came back from Red Frog. We have given them several pointers as far as the onroad track goes and what us onroad racers like or dislike.

They'll open on this coming Tuesday, and many things are still work in progress but they would like to open up for people to just go and have fun and practice for now. They are both great people and pretty ambitous about this venture. Go check it out!

Here's the flyer....

Default onroad

Now take out the dirt and make one huge onroad track. Just kidding. Looks interesting though. I hope this gets more people in the Portland/Vancouver area into the racing scene.
