I adjusted the endpoints on the radio and re-centered the steering trim. Looks better now.

Been following this thread for all 200 pages and like the looks of this car. Has anyone put it on scales and checked rear percentages yet?

Also how long are the rear cv shafts from inner pin to outer pin? Thanks

Nick

Default DRIVESHAFT HITTING T NUT

Hi im building my 210 and im doing the turnbuckles and noticed on the left side the drive shaft end is huitting the t-nut it pushes the camber out positively so i cant have negitive camber. is this normal because i havent got done to break in my diff my diff is tight so should it be in farther. and dont know if when i break it in and i will probly have to tighten it more if it will go in more. i used team durangos diff build guide to build the diff.
thanks Blake

Yeah, should be further in, and on the other side of the car, otherwise it'll likely loosen itself. By the way, the slipper nut looks a little on the tight side as well..I wish my car was as clean as yours..

Hey guys, I finished my build, and it was amazing... besides some of the instructions and searching the parts tree. Anyways, I am trying to figure out what turn motor to run and what gearing to use. I can borrow a 8.5T from a friend fyi. I run on a large track with mid 30s laps.

Sorry I haven't searched, I'm at the inlaws in amarillo, and am using my phone, and it takes 5 min to load a page... if I am luck.

Thanks, jason

Really? I have been running mine on that side for a few months now. Looks like he is running RM3. Run it in then tighten it up, should be fine. I second the slipper nut.........

are the instructions wrong because they show the t nut on the side of the slipper adjustment. should i tighten it down more or just wait untill i break it in. and i would break it in the same way as racer53 shows correct? what should i do?

i was always told to run the diffnut on the opposite side of the slipper otherwise they eventually loosen themselves.

Yeah, not too many cars have the slipper nut opposite the slipper plates, but if you think about it, hard acceleration may turn the nut (possibly) if it's on the left side. If the nut is on the right side, it wont be able to loosen. I didnt look at the manual though, just the rule I have always used. I will go and look at it though, but I dont think the rules of physics have changed, even with this car..lol

We have always run the diff nut on the left (driver's) side of the car, both in 3 and 4 gear configuration.

On another note, Cush had his first runs today with his new Racer's Edge shorty packs and what a difference. We've got some more tuning to do, but the car is night and day different. Running the battery full forward eliminated the push he has been fighting and freed up the rear end- with a full size stick pack the rear end was just too locked down. So far the shorty packs seem to be an improvement so we'll see how racing shakes out on Wednesday.
